Memorial Precinct

The main artifacts of the Memorial Precinct are;

The ACWM, consisting of

  • The Memorial Gates entrance to the BSC
  • A Central Memorial Stone with a flagpole, surrounded by 11 plinths
  • Two curved memorial walls


Future developments will include a disability pathway, steps from the roadway to the memorial site, roadside fencing of the memorial site, installation of a line of flagpoles adjacent to the roadway and a pathway linking the precinct to the QRA Museum.

BSC Memorial Wall

A set of memorial walls encased within two outer curved walls, this structure is designated for the placement of individual memorial plaques in remembrance of deceased members from clubs and organisations within the BSC precinct.

The QRA has provided planning approval for this initiative to proceed.

Design approval is currently being progressed.

Commencement of construction is subject to design approval and attainment of funding required for the purchase of materials and associated construction costs.

This site is proposed to include a disabled carpark and a disability pathway to link with the ACWM.

The Memorial Precinct is maintained as a place of commemoration and reflection within a bushland setting.
