Leslie Gardner

Leslie Gardner was a member of the Maleny Rifle Club. He enlisted and served with the Machine Gun Company in Egypt and on the Western Front. Private Leslie George William Gardner was killed in action on 22 August 1918 on the Somme, France.

In Commemoration of the Brave

The memorial comprises the Armistice Centenary Memorial Gate at the primary entrance to the Belmont Shooting Complex on Old Cleveland Road, as well as a circular memorial forming part of a contemplative garden.
